Half Day Cooking Class for kids

In this two half day classes, the kids will learn how to do steaming, stir fry and pan fry. They will learn basic technique for preparing some Chinese rice and noodle dishes at home and something more than that....

They'll work under our individual supervision and we'll take good care of them. However, we do expect those who join this class must have passion in cooking and are willing to make their hands dirty. During the class they have to actively participating in all the preparation, marinating, cooking and cleaning the thing that they use during the class.

Please make sure your kids know what we expect from them before they join our class. As they'll be fully occupy in that three hours. Please don't expect to sit and just stir with a spoon.

Requirement: Anyone age above 11 years old and have passion in learning cooking.

Class size: Minimum 1 to maximum 6 students in one class. Availability of space is by first come first serve. Last minute application won't be accepted.

Cost: HK$1600 per person per lesson, ingredients and printed recipes included.

Class schedule: From 2am to 5pm. Each lesson can be booked individually. Please refer to the bottom of this page for menu description.

Half Day Cooking Class A: From 2pm to 5pm

1. Braised Yi Fu noodle with mushroom, bean sprout, yellow chives and oyster sauce (Practical)
2. Steam rice with chicken, mushroom and Chinese sausage (Group practical)
3. Pan fried fish fillet with sweet corn and egg drop sauce (Demonstration)

Half Day Cooking Class B: From 2pm to 5pm

1. Egg fried rice with bbq pork, shrimp, carrot, peas and spring onion (Practical)
2. Braised wheat noodle with pork, shrimp, mushroom, cabbage and assorted vegetables (Group practical)
3. Stir fry wheat noodle with mushroom and assorted vegetables(Demonstration)

Notice:
1. The ending time for each cooking session may vary with the number of students in the class.
2. If you want to take away the food which you prepare, you have to bring your own food containers.
3. Advance registration is required by email.
