If there are FOUR people in your group, you can book a 3-hours private class on the date of your choice. You'll learn the professional Chinese cooking technique in preparing TWO popular Chinese vegetarian dishes.
Class size: Please form your group of maximum FOUR participants.
Cost: Minimum charge is HK$6720 per 3-hours lesson for a group of maximum FOUR participants, ingredient included. TWO recipes will be taught per lesson.
Time of lesson: From 10:30am to 1:30pm OR 2:30pm to 5:30pm
To make reservation: Please provide your choice of date/time/menu of lesson, full name of all the class participants, country of residence and your phone number to check availability.
Choice of menu: Please select TWO recipes from the following menu for your class.
1. Braised eggplant, tofu with ginger and garlic in chili bean sauce (Cantonese cuisine) *You'll learn how to cook eggplant so that it'll stay bright purple and not become mushy after cooking.
2. Stir fry wheat noodle with Shitaki mushroom and assorted vegetables (Cantonese cuisine) *Fresh or dry wheat noodles are easily available in stores. You can use the same stir fry technique for stir fry spaghetti or pasta, even if wheat noodle is not available in your country.
3. Singaporean stir fry rice noodles with assorted vegetables and soy products (Cantonese cuisine) *You can find rice vermicelli in most supermarket. A lot of people found their noodle will easily break into short strings or stick to woks. You'll learn how to prepare rice noodles in proper way, so it can absorb the seasoning and keep the shape and texture after stir fry (Cantonese cuisine)
4. Stir fry soy product with celery, carrot in chili bean sauce (Cantonese cuisine) *This is one of our vegetarian student's favorite dish. You can cook it for daily meal easily.
5. Stir fry flat rice noodle with soy product, onion and peppers in fermented black bean and garlic sauce (Cantonese cuisine) *You can serve this sauce with different type of ingredient or you can use it as base for most of the noodle dish
6. Stir fry soy products with cloud ear fungus, seasonal gourd, water chestnuts and spicy sauce (Cantonese cuisine) *Wood ear fungus is very good for health, you'll learn the proper technique to stir fry gourd so that it's cook but crunchy and bright green in colour
7. Stir fry string bean with tofu, ginger, garlic and Sichuan pickled vegetables (Szechuan cuisine) *You'll learn how to prepare the bean so that it can absorb maximum flavour during stir fry.
8. Stir fry tofu with dried chili and peanut in Kung Pao sauce (Szechuan cuisine) *If you love spicy food, you should not skip this recipe.
Notice: 1. The ending time for each cooking session may vary with the number of students in the class. 2. If you want to take away the food that you cook, please bring some food containers. 3. Advance registration is required by email.
